Most Common Obnoxious Disney Behaviors in 2026

Here is a list of common obnoxious behaviors experienced at Walt Disney world.

“Main Character” Syndrome: Guests acting as if the park is their personal living room, completely oblivious to others, or behaving as if high ticket prices entitle them to be rude.

Abruptly Stopping/Walking in Walls: Large groups walking side-by-side (a “wall of people”) or suddenly stopping in the middle of crowded, high-traffic walkways to check phones or take photos.

Chattering/Screaming on Dark Rides: Loudly talking, having full conversations, or screaming lines on quiet, immersive rides like Haunted Mansion or Pirates of the Caribbean.

Phone and Flash Misuse: Holding up phones or tablets during fireworks, recording rides, or using flash photography on dark rides, which ruins the experience for others.

Aggressive Line Cutting: Saving spots in line for multiple family members, or “reconnecting” with a party by pushing through a crowded queue.

Rude Behavior Toward Cast Members: Yelling at staff over policy decisions, ride closures, or minor inconveniences like a lack of forks.

Unsafe ECV/Scooter Operation: Aggressive scooter drivers driving too fast, using them as battering rams in crowds, or hitting other guests’ heels without stopping.

Inconsiderate Children/Parents: Letting children scream, run into people, or climb on restricted items, while parents are often seen ignoring the behavior or screaming at their kids.
